Everything must be:

  • more intuitive
  • more immediate

The ideal system, we are told, is one that disappears entirely—where intention flows directly into outcome without resistance.

But in this pursuit of seamlessness, something critical is being lost:

Direction.

This is where the concept of “Nosette” emerges—not as a product, not as a framework, but as a way of thinking about the delicate balance between friction and direction in AI systems.


The Misunderstanding of Friction
